Some of the most anticipated movies of the year and the biggest names in Hollywood flocked to the scenic south of France for the 77th Annual Cannes Film Festival. The 11-day event — which runs until May 25 — featured the premieres of "Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga," starring Chris Hemsworth and Anya Taylor-Joy, as well as Francis Ford Coppola's passion project, "Megalopolis," starring Adam Driver.

This year's Cannes feature film jury, consisting of "Barbie" director Greta Gerwig and "Killers of the Flower Moon" star Lily Gladstone, will award the coveted Palme d'Or on Saturday. Until then, film and fashion fans can delight in the festival's glitz and glamour, along with the visual feast of high fashion ascending the famous red carpet steps of the Palais des Festivals.

The Cannes Film Festival has delivered so many memorable looks, we've compiled some of our favourite (and least favourite) fashion moments — and we're putting them to a vote. Help us choose a best and worst dressed star from the 2024 Cannes Film Festival by voting below! Check back in with us over the weekend, when we'll share the winner and, unfortunately, the loser.

Demi Moore arrived to the "Kinds of Kindness" premiere wearing an Armani Privé red beaded gown with floral and circular embellishments, along with ruby and diamond chandelier earrings by Chopard. The 61-year-old actress was named by the luxury jewelry brand as this year's "godmother" to honour recipients of the Trophée Chopard, an award given to two young, up-and-coming actors. The title provided Moore access to some of the brand's coveted items for the festival — but it's Moore who shines the brightest to us!

Bella Hadid's brown sheer midi dress at premiere of "The Apprentice" was a high-fashion misstep for the model. Although the silhouette of the look was flattering, the fabric made the Saint Laurent dress look less like a piece from a high-fashion label and more like an amateur design from whatever pantyhose was on-hand.

Longoria had the quintessential movie star moment wearing a shimmering Elie Saab gown at the "Kinds of Kindness" premiere. The 49-year-old wowed in the plunging gown with a dramatic train that reflected the red carpet to make her silver gown appear a soft pastel pink in certain lighting. Longoria styled the look with a statement necklace by Pasquale Bruni that featured morganite, white and grey diamonds.

Canadian supermodel Coco Rocha literally wrote the book on posing for cameras. However, not even her expert skill level can make this couture Robert Wun trench-coat creation seem like a wise choice for Cannes. The avant-garde look would be more suited to a Met Gala red carpet than this festival's famed steps.

Kelly Rowland was the picture of old Hollywood glamour in a cream-coloured gown by Lebanese designer Jean-Louis Sabaji. The singer wowed wearing the asymmetrical piece paired with pearl and diamond jewelry by Tasaki at "The Count of Monte-Cristo" premiere.

As one of Chanel's darlings, Qualley has access to the label's latest looks — and she's even walked the runway as a model. However, this drop-waist petticoat dress and sequinned ballet flats that Qualley wore the premiere of her film, "The Substance," read as childish. It wouldn't be our first pick from the collection for the prestigious film festival.

Two-time Oscar winner Emma Stone was back with "Poor Things" director Yorgos Lanthimos to celebrate the premiere of their latest work, "Kinds of Kindness." Stone, who is an ambassador to Louis Vuitton, wowed on the red carpet wearing a plum-coloured sequinned gown featuring a plunging neckline and ruffled hem. The 35-year-old paired the look with a berry-coloured lip and wore her hair in soft, loose waves.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, "The Apprentice" actress called this look from Dolce & Gabbana's 2016 Alta Moda collection "special and fresh." Although the dress is definitely ornate, the drawing and deconstructed bodice make this look feel unfinished, and not befitting a 27-year-old Oscar nominee at the Cannes premiere of their film.

Models and Cannes are a match made in heaven — just like Ambrosio and this pastel pink gown by Peter Dundas. While the Alessandra Ambrosio could wear anything and look radiant, the soft pink colour, black bow details and retro-inspired silhouette of the look she wore at the "Marcello Mio" premiere was a departure from the sequinned looks we're used to seeing her wear.

Julianne Moore was on-hand to celebrate the Cannes premiere of Kevin Costner's long-awaited film, "Horizon: An American Saga." While Moore is always a red carpet delight, her ruffled Bottega Veneta dress with visible stitching didn't do justice to one of the greatest actors in the industry. The wrinkled fabric and lack of shape of the bodice made this look feel dowdy.
