Candy Wang not too eager to get married
2 Feb – Now that her friend Lin Chi-ling is happily married, Candy Wang couldn't help but laugh at the notion that all eyes are now on her as the new golden bachelorette.
As reported on Epoch Times, the Taiwanese supermodel, who appeared at a press conference for an exhibition on 1 February, stated that she is in no hurry to tie the knot as it is no joking matter.
"I wanted to get married when I was in my 20s, but marriage is not something to play at. I am more realistic now, so I am not that eager to tie the knot," she said.
However, Candy admitted that with the Lunar New Year coming, she is starting to feel the stress - knowing full well the questions that would come her way.
"If relatives ask me about marriage and urge me to settle down, I would pack my red envelopes and leave the scene as soon as possible. I really am afraid of the Lunar New Year," she confessed.
On the other hand, when asked if she is still receiving a lot of endorsement deals and fashion-related gigs during the pandemic, Candy stated that everybody is affected by the pandemic, and is trying their best to heal themselves.
