Camille Prats admits challenge of being parents during pandemic

18 May – Camille Prats recently admitted that it is challenging being parents during the pandemic, especially when it comes to creating a safe normal environment for her children.

As reported on Inquirer, the actress who has two children with current husband John Yambao and a 12-year-old son with late husband Anthony Linsangan, stated that she and her husband would always remind their children to wash their hands and disinfect, stating that it is now their new normal.

At the same time, Prats also made sure to improve her cooking skills so that the whole family can enjoy their meal time together.

"I always cook Filipino dishes for my family because they're what I'm comfortable preparing. But I have started exploring other recipes, through the internet. I surprised them with new meals and they liked those. It almost made me cry when I saw them really loving the dishes," she said.

Aside from that, the actress said that she also organised many interesting activities for the kids, especially for her toddler daughter Nala and baby boy Nolan.

"Playing, painting, doodling, watching movies and baking easy snacks... those are some of the things we do around the house. We take it one day at a time," she said, adding that she hopes to give them a sense of normalcy even during trying times.
