‘When Calls the Heart’ Season 11 Trailer Has Dropped and Fans Have a Lot to Say

We're less than a month away from the April 7 premiere of When Calls the Heart season 11, and viewers can't wait to see the folks of Hallmark's favorite frontier town together once again. But it seems like some already have a lot to say about the fate of two popular characters after actress Pacale Hutton, who plays Rosemary Coulter, posted the first trailer for the season.

In it, fans witness Elizabeth Thatcher Thornton (Erin Krakow) embrace the need for change after breaking off her engagement to Lucas Bouchard (Chris McNally). But we also got to see a tease of Elizabeth's potential romance with Nathan Grant (Kevin McGarry).

What's more, Pascale revealed more clues about the upcoming season with a cryptic yet thrilling caption. "New teammates, new hair, new friendships, new love (?), AND a first birthday!!!!" she wrote on February 29. "What more does #season11 have in store?????"

Given how the show has been teasing Elizabeth and Nathan's impending love affair ever since the mountie first appeared on When Calls the Heart back in season 6, fans had a lot to say about seeing the twosome's palpable tension.

"YESS NATHAN AND ELIZABETH ❤️," one person exclaimed in the comments on Instagram. "Yessss! Team Nathan all the way!!! I’ve always rooted for Elizabeth and Nathan together," another remarked. "I'm so looking forward to this upcoming season. Especially seeing Nathan and Elizabeth coming together. ❤️," a different follower added.

As fans may remember, season 10 saw Elizabeth split from Lucas amid his campaign to become the new governor of Hope Valley. This caused him to leave town for political business, opening Elizabeth up to develop romantic feelings for Nathan. While we don't know the duo's future together, it's certain to have fans wanting to tune in.

As for how Pascale's character fares in season 11, Rosemary and her husband Lee (Kavan Smith) gather together to celebrate their daughter Goldie's first birthday. Elsewhere, she teams up with Bill Avery (Jack Wagner) to uncover a dangerous mystery that may leave their fellow citizens of Hope Valley at risk.
