Bunga is the opening act for Coldplay in Malaysia

14 Jun - Malaysian female rapper Bunga recently revealed that she will be the opening act for Coldplay's upcoming concert in Malaysia.

Sharing the news on 12 June via Instagram, she posted, "Assalamualaikum everyone. First of all, praise be to God for this opportunity. To be honest, this is the biggest performance event for me, involving tens of thousands of people. God willing, my team and I will do the best, and we will work hard to give you the best. Pray for us."

"I'm thinking about the concept of my performance. Do you have any ideas?" she added.

Fans and friends alike took to the comments section to congratulate the rapper, including Neeta Manis, DOLLA's Tabby Lam, Wani Kayrie, and Charis Ow, the latter who expressed, "This is awesome!!!!"

Speaking to Harian Metro about the upcoming concert, Bunga, real name Noor Ayu Fatini Bakhari, stated that she was offered to open the concert two months ago.

"A lot of people don't know me and many have questioned why I was chosen. So, I have to do my best," she added.

Coldplay will be performing in Malaysia on 22 November at the National Stadium Bukit Jalil as part of their Music of the Spheres tour.
