Buffy Chen dedicates win to co-star Troy Liu
25 Nov – Soon after winning Best New Performer at the 57th Golden Horse Awards, Buffy Chen took to social media to dedicate a post to her co-star Troy Liu.
On 23 November, the Taiwanese actress posted a photo of her and Troy together at the said awards, and wrote, "The Silent Forest is not just a movie. It's like home, a starting point for me, and my most important partner [Troy Liu]."
"Troy, no matter where we are, no matter how far in the future, we will still be Beibei and Zheng Cheng. It was you who taught me to face difficulties bravely, and you also kept me company in real life just as Zhang Cheng did for Beibei," she added.
At the same time, she also thanked director Ko Chen-Nien for casting newcomers like them in the movie, as well as to those who were silently involved in the picture.
"In our story, the best actor is always you, Troy," she added.
