"Buddies Do Big Things" is Joey Meng's last TVB series?

24 Apr – Although fans are excited over news that Joey Meng and Bobby Au Yeung are reuniting in the new series, "Buddies Do Big Things", rumours are rife that the said drama would probably be their last project with the company.

As reported on ToPick, sources recently claimed that Joey, who has been with TVB since 2013, has decided not to renew her contract with the company this year.

On the other hand, Bobby reportedly had already ended his contract earlier.

It is noted that Joey had not shot any new project since 2016's "Dead Wrong" due to her health, saying that the long filming hours really took a toll on her well-being. The actress also stated that she had to consider her own health before taking any new project.

Prior to TVB, Joey was one of the biggest stars on ATV, having been with the station for more than 20 years and starring in its biggest series like, "My Date with a Vampire" and "I Have a Date With Spring".
