Brooklyn 99 final episode’s title is out. It will premiere on NBC on September 16 at 8 p.m. ‘The Last Day’ will be Brooklyn 99 final episode’s title of the two-part finale (parts one and two).

Andy Samberg, who plays detective Jake Peralta, discussed how the comedy series tackled these serious topics. He says, “The challenge is going to be being honest about what is going on in the world and not shying away from the fact that there are serious problems, and also not punishing viewers who like our show and care about our characters.”

He added: “Our characters need to examine their roles in the world. They’re going to be forced to look in the mirror and see who they’re complicit with.”

The narrative of Jake and Amy’s baby Mac was also born in the season seven finale. It was continuing in the final season. The Pontiac Bandit, aka Doug Judy (Craig Robinson), was brought back, along with Gina Linetti (Chelsea Peretti) and Adrian Pimento (Jason Mantzoukas).

Captain Raymond Holt (Andre Braugher), Charles Boyle (Joe Lo Truglio), Terry Jeffords (Terry Crews), Rosa Diaz (Stephanie Beatriz), and Amy Santiago (Melissa Fumero), all from the 99th precinct), also return for the final season.
