Brigitte Lin to become a grandmother

20 Jan - Who can believe that '80s film goddess Brigitte Lin is now going to be a grandmother?

According to Mingpao News, the 61-year-old actress is going to welcome her first granddaughter as stepdaughter Claudine Ying recently revealed on Instagram that she is expecting her first baby.

"I have always dreamed about becoming a mummy one day. And today, [my fiancé] Lloyd and I are happy to announce that we are expecting a baby! We are so thrilled and blessed to finally become parents and to be able to start growing our big big family."

Claudine, who is close to Brigitte, is the daughter of Brigitte's husband Michael Ying with his first wife, fashion designer Flora Cheong. However, the 28-year-old has always treated Brigitte like her own mother, even calling her 'the best stepmother'.

She has been dating her banker fiancé for more than a year, although they have yet to get married.
