Bridgerton’s Casting Director Has Been Inundated With Unsolicited Sex Tapes
After the raunchiest Bridgerton series yet, fans of the Regency-era drama have taken it upon themselves to emulate the series' sexual appeal by sending 'unsolicited' sex tapes to its casting director.
Speaking to Should I Delete That? podcast, Bridgerton's casting director, Kelly Valentine Hendry, revealed that she is inundated with unsolicited sexual recordings.

'I get the most unbelievable videos, unsolicited,' she said. 'It’s sex, basically. Not actual sex, but it’s quite punchy the stuff that comes through to me. Not nudie pictures, but not far off. It’s sad, really.'
It's not just a few sexual recordings here and there either. Hendry revealed that her inbox reaches almost 90% capacity each day from the stream of sex auditions she receives.
The third season of Bridgerton told the love story of Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) and featured sex scenes between the pair, which Coughlan has openly declared as 'liberating' to film despite being 'terrified' to star in them. Bridgerton hasn't shied away from sex scenes in previous seasons either, with the first focussing on the Duke of Hastings (Regé-Jean Page) and Daphne Bridgerton (Phoebe Dynevor) and the second telling the story of Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey) and Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley).
Speaking to ELLE UK ahead of the third season's release, Coughlan joked about the nudity that was set to feature in the recently-released third series. 'Oh god, yes, it’s going to happen! We used to joke about it, really inappropriate jokes, like, "Wouldn’t it be funny if we did this when we do it?," she said. 'And then as time goes on it becomes more real. Now it’s not funny anymore! Everyone’s like, "You’re going to have to kiss Luke! On the lips!"'
