A woman has revealed on Facebook how she faced a wedding curveball when a group of family members arrived – even though they weren’t invited.

Posting on a thread where newlyweds traded drama-filled wedding stories, she described the ‘messy’ experience of the unwelcome guests.

“An entire faction of my husband’s family who we had purposely not invited just showed up,” she wrote.

“We ended up having to seat them (they did not get meals because I’m petty) because our party had already started and we didn’t want to ruin it.

“They also tried to participate in some of the traditional dances that they shouldn’t have so it was messy.”

Another newlywed weighed in with her own tale of how her brother’s ex-girlfriend behaved badly at her nuptials after a boozy start.

She revealed: “My brother’s ex-girlfriend got trashed on a bottle of Champagne she took from the bar and then proceeded to try and physically fight my brother because he took her keys,’ one woman shared.

“She wanted to drive home when she could barely walk. My bridesmaids about beat her after she started taking swings at them also.”

We’re used to hearing stories about stressed brides and grooms, but we can’t help but think behaving like this on someone’s Big Day is pretty unforgivable.

However, it’s no secret that weddings bring out some weird and wacky behaviour. Recently, a woman shared how she received an itemised bill after attending a bachelorette party.
