Brian Chu not against the idea of rekindling romance
3 Aug - Although they are no longer together, Brian Chu recently stated that he is not against the prospect of a reconciliation with ex-girlfriend Stitch Yu.
The actor, who attended his first promotional event for his new drama on 2 August since he and Stitch announced their breakup, stated that the reason the relationship ended was because of the pandemic.
"We only saw each other two weeks in the past two years, and it had been difficult to maintain," he said.
It is noted that Brian focuses on his TVB career in Hong Kong while Stitch is now in Taiwan.
"I am so grateful [for the relationship]. There was no trouble at all during the breakup process. I think this is a good decision for everybody. We are still good friends and will definitely support each other in the future," he added.
Asked if there is a possibility of rekindling their romance if Stitch returns to Hong Kong, Brian said, "We'll be friends and get along with each other first, and in the future, we'll see how far that can go."
