Bowie Tsang slams netizens for father's rape allegations

22 Jan – Taiwanese singer-actress Bowie Tsang has recently fought back allegations that her father, Hong Kong actor-producer Eric Tsang is involved in the sexual assault of actress Yammie Lam and other women.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress recently participated in a television show, where she talked about the situation faced by her family following allegations that he was a rapist.

Said Bowie, "I believe if you paid attention to the entertainment news, you may have seen news about my father Eric Tsang. In fact it's about sexual assault and sexual harassment."

"I want to take this opportunity and express what is in my heart. I absolutely condemn any form of sexual assault and harassment. But I will also not tolerate any false allegations and defamation of character," stressed the actress.

Bowie admitted that she has also been attacked on social media, with netizens calling her "daughter of a rapist" despite the fact that the allegations have not been proven true.

In a previous interview, Bowie said that she believes in her father's innocence.

On the other hand, it was reported that many other artistes have also expressed suppport towards Eric, including good friend Alan Tam, producer Chiu Li Kwan, and his "Initial D" co-star, Jay Chou.
