Bowie Tsang loses a gig due to Mickey Huang scandal?
9 May - It looks like the scandal concerning Mickey Huang has now plagued people around him and those who were linked to him in the past.
As reported on Oriental Daily, Taiwanese media recently revealed that TV personality Bowie Tsang was originally scheduled to be the host for an endorsement event that has Son Ye-jin as its spokesperson on 16 April.
However, earlier that month, Mickey was found to have child pornography in his possession, triggering a lot of attention towards everyone around him including his wife Summer Meng and his friends in the industry. Many of them were forced to express their opinion regarding the case, one after another.
It was reported that this includes Bowie, who had dated Mickey in the past.
According to reports, the event organiser decided to replace Bowie in the last minute as they were worried that people would be distracted by her presence at the event and take the focus away from the event itself.
Bowie's team had since confirmed this, saying, "We are very familiar with the organiser and we were worried that it would take away the focus as well. After much discussion, we both agreed it was better this way."
