BOP to restart HK music career with new management
28 Mar – Tyrese Au, Gordop Yip and Lincoln Hui of the Hong Kong trio BOP (Bird of Paradise) are ready to make their mark again in the music industry now that they are signed to a new management.
As reported on Mingpao, the three members, who appeared at their contract signing ceremony with Sky Team Entertainment, performed their new song and revealed that they will be holding a concert at the Star Hall in September to commemorate their fifth year anniversary.
Asked about their contract period with the company, BOP said, "The contract period is not the focus. The most important thing is to create a great cooperation and have fun."
The group also admitted that they felt a sense of gratitude to Sky Team for investing a lot of resources on them.
As for their previous contract dispute with former agency, PanAsia, BOP stated that the issue has already been settled.
"For the past two years, we have been working in mainland China and participating in many variety shows. Now we are ready to return to the Hong Kong music scene," the group said.
