Bobby Au-yeung wants reunion with "Armed Reaction" stars

18 Jun – TVB actor Bobby Au Yeung recently admitted that he would love to work alongside his "Armed Reaction" co-stars again in future projects before he becomes too old for it.

As reported on Mingpao, the actor who was reunited with some of the cast of the 1998 drama at the opening of Ben Wong's new beauty centre, told the media lightheartedly, "I have always thought about it. I wanted to do it again. But if we're not quick, I'm afraid that the audience will not recognise me anymore."

Bobby also sang praises for Ben, saying that the actor looked ageless.

When mentioned that he is not too bad himself, the actor joked that he had done some "fine-tuning" to himself.

"But it doesn't mean that I got thinner. I tried it before, and friends thought that I was ill. So I decided to get fat again," he added.

On the other hand, when asked about recent reports that he had once tried to audition for the children show "430 Space Shuttle" in the past, Bobby said that he went on the audition with Stephen Chow back then, but was not chosen in the end.

"Stephen didn't want it that bad, but he got in. I wanted it, but I didn't," he said.

When asked why he wanted to be a part of the show badly, Bobby jokingly said that people who hosted the show became popular after only half a year.

Aside from Stephen Chow, the show's other hosts that became popular include Tony Leung and Ekin Cheng.
