Boanne Cheung is pursuing her Master's degree
5 Nov – Miss Hong Kong alumna and Hong Kong artiste Boanne Cheung is following the footsteps of fellow beauty queen Tracy Chu by going back to school.
As reported on Mingpao, the 24-year-old beauty queen, who is also the younger sister of actress Bowie Cheung, shared that she has started working on her Master's degree in International Technology Management since September.
"I think that the development of science and technology in the global world is very significant and I want to add more values into my knowledge," she said.
However, Boanne said that she is not taking a break from her showbiz career, and is doing her best to juggle her career and her studies.
When asked if she will take the opportunity to get to know somebody while finishing her studies, the actress laughed and said, "All the students are hard at work. Everyone helps each other."
On the other hand, it is also noted that while Boanne previously joined the TVB Training Academy following her stint in the Miss Hong Kong pageant, she has not renewed her contract with the company.
