Blake Lively Slays Her First Red Carpet Appearance Since Welcoming Baby No. 2

Blake Lively has made her triumphant post-baby return to the red carpet, and boy did we miss her. The 29-year-old lit up the red carpet at L'Oreal Paris's Women of Worth Celebration in New York City Wednesday night, less than two months after giving birth to her second child.
Lively looked stunning in a black dress featuring a plunging neckline, long sheer sleeves and--the best part--pockets. She wore her long blonde hair down and straight, and opted for a nude lip and natural makeup for the star-studded event, while strappy nude sandals showed off her fashion-forward black pedi (with a matching mani).

The Shallows star and her husband Ryan Reynolds welcomed their second child--a girl-- in late September. She made the news shortly after when she attended a friend's wedding just three days later looking no worse for the wear. Lively bounced back just as quickly after giving birth to her first child, daughter James, 23-months. Since then, she's become known for her super-human post baby bod (seriously, have you seen The Shallows?) although she's been vocal about moving the emphasis away from this superficial aspect of motherhood.

"I think that a woman's body after having a baby is pretty amazing," Lively said in an interview on Australian morning show Sunrise in August. "You don't need to be Victoria's Secret-ready right away because you just did the most incredible miracle that life has to offer. I mean, you gave birth to a human being! I would really like to see that celebrated."

Pregnant or not, Lively always looks fantastic and we can't wait to see more of the style star.
