Beyoncé Calls Out Donald Trump on Her Track "Energy"
Since the release of Beyoncé's seventh studio album Renaissance, fans have been flocking to Twitter to share their favorite tracks. "Energy" the fifth song on the 16-track long album, has become a fan favorite thanks to it's sublimely shady lyrics and booming afrobeat tempo. It's the only song on the album to have a blatant feature as well. Jamaican-American rapper BEAM sings the song's chorus in between cheeky verses courtesy of Bey.
Beyoncé gets surprisingly political on the track, with her opening verse calling out the 2020 presidential election and voting out former President Donald Trump. Beyonce famously endorsed Joe Biden and Kamala Harris the day before the election on Instagram—while clad in head to toe Balmain, of course.
