This season, LUAR takes the crown for making the most rounds on social media and group chats– and with Beyonce in attendance, how could we expect anything less? Fusing gender fluid aesthetics with futruristic tailoring, LUAR's FW24 show was an ode to metrosexuality and the zeitgeist adored, soft-masculine aesthetic. The show was also a family affair for the Knowles family, with Tina Knowles and Solange in attendance to support Solange's son "Julez" Smith Jr.'s runway debut.

Best Staging and Set Design: PUMA Mostro

The PUMA Mostro show transformed Grand Central Station into a futuristic amusement park. Mimicking a starry night, the room was completely dark, with a formidable and lit up skyscreamer ride as the centerpiece. Dangling off the bright red seats of the skyscreamer were neon PUMA Mostro sneakers on synthetic legs that eerily circled the room as the ride rotated and moved up and down throughout the show.

Best Soundtrack: Tommy Hilfiger

Curated by Questlove, fashion week enthusiasts and attendees alike can't stop gushing over the soundtrack at the Tommy Hilfiger show. Seamlessly jumping from Biggie Smalls to Bob James, the quick-changing music perfectly complemented the models' cool and effortless walks and added the finishing touch of Americana Hilfiger was going for. Following Questlove’s curation, was a live performance by Jon Batiste with palpable and infectious energy as the singer jumped on tables and grooved.

Most Inclusive Casting: Collina Strada

Collina Strada's FW24 show invites audiences into "Collina's Gym" where we celebrate women in all their glory. Notably, strutting down the runway was a pregnant model, a model holding a baby, curvy models, older models and Indigenous model and activist Quannah Chasinghorse. Additionally, an honorable mention in this category goes to Christian Cowen for the plethora of fabulous older models in its show.

The internet can't get enough of the Collina Strada x UGG collaboration this season. Pink, frilly, bulky and quite practical with grips at the bottom, the boots are the perfect mix of camp and trendy.

To start, we have to shoutout Sandy Liang, who since 2023 has dominated the fashion scene. With designs that amplify fun femininity and her signature bows, Liang keeps the girlies excited. This season, she introduced her collaboration with Salomon at her showcase, adding to her ever-present buzz.

Next, LaQuan Smith partnered with Bose to gear up for the launch of the Bose Ultra Earbuds. Rather than the traditional earphone shape, these earbuds resemble an ear cuff, blending function and style.

Lastly, as the stylist of Kim Shui's show, we'd like to give Jan-Michael Quammie her flowers. Kim Shui's designs this season aimed to bring the fantastical to life with the Year of the Dragon as her north star. Mixing and matching laces, furs and leather with all kinds of silhouettes, Quammie took Shui's vision to the next level.
