Betty Sun Li donates all profits from business to charity

12 Dec – Fans of Chinese actress Betty Sun Li would know that aside from acting, the queen of television also runs a business selling her own preloved items.

But did you know that the profits of her two shops, Blooms and TurboLane, were never for her own use?

As reported on Epoch Times, it was recently revealed that the two stores, which were established in 2012, have been making money to fund the education of 100 poor children in remote areas.

This was confirmed by the Shanghai Kindness & Wisdom Foundation, whose rep stated, "We're thankful to Sun Li, who - since the establishment of the project in 2012 - has continued to fund and care over 100 poor students."

Fans who heard about Sun's charity work, praised the actress for not only being a good mother and actress, but also a model citizen.

Sun had since responded to the reports on Weibo, saying, "I will continue to work hard in managing my two stores in preparation for the next school year."
