Benz Hui denies retiring and emigrating to Singapore

1 Apr – Veteran actor Benz Hui has recently dismissed rumours that he is soon to retire and emigrate to Singapore.

As reported on Mingpao, the "Line Walker" actor, who appeared at the 2019 Asia Influential Awards recently, stated that he has actually moved to Singapore 20 years ago.

"My daughter was born there. But it only made the news recently because I bought a home just a while ago," he said.

Benz also shared that he has actually been travelling often to and fro from Singapore and Hong Kong.

As for rumours of retirement, the 70-year-old stated that he has no plans to do so just yet.

"I still have projects to do. In June, I will be filming "Line Walker 3". I am happy to collaborate with Raymond Lam and the original cast again in the upcoming series," he said.
