Benny Chan and wife welcomes baby boy
25 Sep – It was revealed that actor Benny Chan and his wife Lisa Jiang have recently welcomed a new addition to their family.
As reported on Apple Daily website, in the morning of 23 September, Lisa gave birth to an 8.3 pound baby boy via Caesarean section, their second child after their two-year-old daughter named Chan Nga-yu.
The baby is named Chan King Hin, and since he was born during the night of the No.8 Typhoon Usagi, Benny nicknamed his son Ah Ba (Eight).
Speaking about the baby's features, Benny enthused, "His chubby face is like mine but I think he looks more like his sister. I can't help but smile when I saw him. I was very touched and I realised how amazing it is for a mother to give birth to a child."
The 43-year-old actor was also full of praises for his wife, saying, "She was very strong. She is already breastfeeding even though her wound has not healed. Lisa is the happiest one of all since her wish to give birth to a Libran is finally granted. I am also under the Libra star sign."
"My only hope for him is that he will continue to have a healthy life. He doesn't need to be very successful, as long as he does not become a burden to the society," the actor added.
