Benjamin Kheng proposes to girlfriend, shows off gorgeous photos

SINGAPORE — Just months after Sam Willows singer Benjamin Kheng announced Naomi Yeo as his girlfriend, he took to Instagram on Friday (13 March) to announce that he has proposed to the model/actress/presenter.

The 29-year-old posted a series of gorgeous photos in which he proposed to Yeo in what looks like an outdoor grassland in New Zealand.

In the Instagram post, he wrote out the heartwarming conversation between him and Yeo during the proposal. Apparently, Kheng had already asked Yeo’s parents for approval to marry her about five months ago, but kept their approval a secret until his proposal to her.

And he ended the post with “And that, kids, is how I got your mother”, a great reference to popular sitcom How I Met Your Mother.

Fans were quick to express joy and congratulatory messages on the Instagram post, with more than 1,000 comments on the post.
