Bella Thorne looked like an ‘80s prom queen in a pale purple gown
Let’s just say that actress Bella Thorne can wear some pretty off-the-wall stuff. Her hair color trends toward bright neon pinks and blues. She’s rarely seen without a full-body fishnet ensemble. But a recent look has her in rare form.
Thorne wore a long tulle gown in soft purple for Daily Front Row’s Fashion Media Awards during New York Fashion Week. Also, the fluffy dress is giving us major John Hughes film vibes. With white pumps, a return to her auburn hair, and a bright lip, she looks like a princess.
Which is convenient, because that’s how she described herself in an Instagram post. In the video, she blows a kiss to the event photographers, hamming it up.

She really does look a prom queen from a movie. Maybe it’s a hint for her next project??

Thorne’s Fashion Week game has been 100% on point this year.
She attended Harper’s Bazaar’s Icons party wearing a glittery pink and black gown. The updo and her makeup looked super classic Hollywood.
She wore a cutout gown to the Philipp Plein show. This look was edgy and daring.
She wore a minidress and thigh-high boots to the opening of Refinery29’s 29 Rooms.
We’ll always admire Bella for her fashion risks, but these looks really paid off. The girl can be versatile.
The 19-year-old has also recently returned to music.
Thorne teamed up with Prince Fox for the new single “Just Call.” And more is hopefully to come.
“There’s nothing like being on stage,” she told PEOPLE. “Just bringing people together and them feeling the emotion you had when you were writing it — it’s really powerful. Only music can really do that.”
