Bell Ngasri didn't expect to get nominated again

11 Oct - After winning Most Popular Star at last year's Anugerah Bintang Popular Berita Harian, Bell Ngasri is pleasantly surprised to find that he has been nominated again this year in the Most Popular Comedy Artiste and Film Actor categories this year.

The actor, who had been nominated in the Comedy category before prior to him winning the coveted Most Popular Star in 2023, said that he never thought that people would still vote for him this year.

"I thought that it was just a viral phenomenon last year and that it would not happen again this year. Hence, I didn't expect anything as I have already experienced it last year," he said.

Bell, real name Nasrizal Ngasri, stated that being in the top five is enough for him.

At the same time, he also hopes to see his peers like Joey Daud or Senario win the grand title and that he will be attending the event just to support them.
