Bela Padilla on Zanjoe Marudo: We're texting!
28 Apr - Unlike other couples, Filipino stars seem to have their own levels and phases when it comes to relationships.
There is "going out", which is seeing each other, not unlike dating. There's "dating", which is going out with more meaningful intention, not unlike being in a relationship. And there's the full-form "in a relationship".
But Bela Padilla seemed to have coined a new term and phase - "texting", which is somewhere between "being friends" and "going out".
Or at least that's what she told Boy Abunda on his show, "Tonight with Boy Abunda" recently, when asked about her current status with "My Dear Heart" co-star Zanjoe Marudo.
"We are texting. [We're not going out per se]. I am entertaining all possibilities in my life right now. I would say, Zanjoe is a big help in my life right now," she said.
Prior to rumours of romance with Marudo, Padilla dated businessman and film producer Neil Arce for many years - the latter who is now rumoured to be dating Angel Locsin.
On the other hand, Marudo was with actress Bea Alonzo before they broke up in early 2016. Alonzo is now dating ex-boyfriend Gerald Anderson.
