Beauty Gonzalez stars in "In My Mother's Skin"

23 May – Beauty Gonzalez is set to star in the international horror-thriller film, "In My Mother's Skin".

The actress, whose last movie was Brillante Mendoza's "Gensan Punch", will be joining other Filipino actresses that include Jasmine Curtis-Smith, Angeli Bayani, and Felicity Kyle Napuli.

The upcoming movie, directed by Kenneth Lim Dagatan, is a co-production between studios from the Philippines, Singapore, and Taiwan.

The said movie is described as a story of a girl "who trusts a flesh-eating fairy to save her dying mother when they are left behind in an isolated mansion, near the end of the Second World War."

Beauty, who moved to the Kapuso network last year, was recently seen in season 3 of GMA romance anthology, "I Can See You".
