Gucci Beauty recently launched their Gucci Blush De Beauté, the house’s first powder blush that can be applied on cheeks and eyes, rendering it multi-purpose and versatile.

The Formula

Its adaptable formula of smooth powders and pigments is infused with emollient waxes to deliver buildable, long-lasting colour that intensifies seamlessly, layer after layer. The hydrating, ultra-thin powder cares for all skin types with an infusion of Shea Butter, Hyaluronic Acid and Black Rose Oil, blending pleasantly and easily for a second-skin feel.

The Range

Gucci Blush De Beauté comes in an array of six lively hues designed for a natural-looking glow. From supple pink to brazen berry, the range offers a series of universally flattering shades that energize your skin tone to its freshest expression and deliver a touch of colour to cheeks and eyes.

The Packaging

Embellished with pastel pink enamel and a playful star pattern, Gucci Blush De Beauté’s covetable compact is dressed in a vintage-inspired gold-toned design. Transforming on-the-go touch-ups into a special ritual, the compact reveals a tenderly embossed powder with the emblematic Gucci logo within.

Our verdict

We each chose a colour that we think would complement our skin tones nicely and this is what we think:

"I love the subtle fragrance upon layering the colour on my cheeks; it gives off a nice floral scent and uplifted my mood. I chose 04 Bright Coral as I'm quite tanned over the years but I was surprised to see a nice sheen after just applying with my fingers." - Reta Lee

"It has a soft and smooth texture and upon first application, I like the natural-looking flush. If you would like a more intense colour on the cheeks, the blusher's formula is easily buildable and easy to blend. Oh, and the packaging is really pretty! I haven't tried the colour of my eyes but seeing it's a multi-purpose beauty item, I can't wait to try it." - Elizabeth Tong

"Think of my circumstance while using the blush: Make-up less, sleepy, reeling from food coma. After some initial excitement and tittering over the pretty packaging, I chose Radiant Pink because it has a tinge of orange (you cannot really tell unless swatching together with Elizabeth's Silky Rose), good for my beige complexion. Perhaps because of my clean face, the colour took around three swipes to build. The overall effect is a natural and dewy look, but let's be honest, it's the luxe feel of the brand that truly stirs the heart. - Stephanie Zheng
