Beatrice Luigi Gomez is proud of her hard work

16 Dec - Despite not being able to bring back the Miss Universe crown to the Philippines, the country's representative Beatrice Luigi Gomez stated that she has no regrets over her performance at the pageant.

The 26-year-old, who made it to the Top 5 at the recently held Miss Universe 2021 pageant in Israel, stated that she really was aiming for that crown when she arrived for the competition.

"I really expected Philippines would have a placement this year because I know how hard I worked and all I ever did was deliver my best. My best is not just limited to top 16 or top 10," she said.

Beatrice added that she doesn't regret anything because she has done all she can and she is proud of what she has given for the competition.

In a previous interview with Dyan Castillejo, Beatrice stated that she was also happy for Miss India Harnaaz Sandhu who won the title, saying that the 21-year-old was one of her roommates during the competition.

"We were all rooting for her because she works really hard and was so pressured at times that we even helped her. So, we're very happy for her," she said.
