BBC and ITV join forces on new 'BritBox' concept

British TV broadcasters BBC Worldwide and ITV are teaming up on a new project called 'BritBox.'

The streaming service will be available for US viewers, starting from early 2017, Deadline reports.

The service will offer a combination of current British soaps and shows, alongside iconic classics such as "Pride and Prejudice" and "Fawlty Towers." It will be made available on iOS, Android, Roku, Apple TV and Chromecast platforms.
