Barbie Hsu's family won't hold a public funeral
6 Feb - Dee Hsu recently revealed that the family has no plans to hold a public funeral for dear sister Barbie Hsu, who passed away back on 2 February.
The TV personality, who was revealed to have already returned to Taiwan with the rest of the family as well as Barbie's ashes, issued a statement through her manager, saying that the late actress "has arrived home safely."
"I believe she is now happy and carefree in heaven! We will not hold a funeral for Barbie because she had always been a low-key person. If you miss her, just keep it in your heart! Our whole family is grateful for your love for Barbie," she said.
Dee said that Barbie had always had an open mind regarding life and death and spent her every day as if it was her last day. Dee also said that her last words to her friends were to do three things when she died, and that one of them was that she hoped everyone would not cry.
It was reported that Barbie's ashes were flown home by a private charter plane on 5 February.
