Bangkok best buffets – Every budget covered, secret menus unlocked, all with Hungry Hub

When you are travelling, buffet meals are one of the best ways to save money. If you are visiting Bangkok anytime soon, this Bangkok best buffet list is all you need to discover the very best food in Thailand and the best value for money deals on top!

1. Copper Beyond Buffet Gaysorn Amarin

“This is the best buffet I have ever had.” That was Seth marvelling at the Copper Beyond Buffet Gaysorn Amarin experience. An easy no.1, Copper is hands-down one of the best places to eat anywhere in Thailand, not just Bangkok. It’s so popular that bookings only open twice a month. The Hungry Hub app makes it so easy to book your spot.

Even easier is getting there. This buffet restaurant is near Chit Lom BTS Skytrain station, Siam Centre and the R-walk Junction. They have a sister restaurant, Copper Beyond Buffet @The Sense Pinklao.

Known for its upscale international buffet experience, Copper flips the mass-produced food idea on its head. Instead, the local sensation opts for personalisation and Michelin restaurant-style plating for every dish served. I wouldn’t usually start raving about soup at a buffet but the Truffle Soup and Croissant really is something extraordinary. Especially rich and creamy, the soup pairs perfectly with the croissant for the ideal start to a meal. We all had double servings.

A large part of the crowd comes for the sushi, sashimi and Australian wagyu, a fact eminently clear from the laden plates we saw.

Another is the impressive Seafood station, brimming to the counter edges with fresh catch.

2. The Seafood Cafe & Restaurant

The Seafood Cafe & Restaurant offers an authentic seafood dining experience in Chinatown just a stone’s throw away from Wat Mangkon MRT station. It’s a newly opened restaurant operated by the third generation of the T&K Seafood family. With that kind of pedigree, their buffet was always going to be on our list of Bangkok best buffets.

What’s even more special is that The Seafood Cafe & Restaurant is an a la carte restaurant; only Hungry Hub allows you to enjoy a buffet here!

This is the place to go for a seafood buffet in Bangkok. They offer an authentic and unforgettable gastronomic experience for all marine dining. The menu has a la carte options alongside an All You Can Eat Seafood Buffet (฿1,190, S$44.07).

The All You Can Eat Seafood Buffet + 1 Premium Jumbo River Prawn (฿1,690, S$62.59) is value for money – you’ll never get those prices at a restaurant in Singapore.

The succulent Grilled River Prawns and Fresh Oysters were lovely but the Stir Fried Prawns with Sichuan Pepper Sauce really made our day. Another good dish to try is the Stir Fried Crab Meat with Yellow Curry.

They serve Deep fried Sea Bass in a variety of preparations, including with Sweet & Salty Sauce, with Three Flavours Sauce and in Spicy Garlic and Lime Soup. If each sounds more delicious than the next, it’s because they are!

There is  also an All You Can Eat PREMIUM Seafood Buffet + 1 Premium Lobster Dish (฿2,190, S$81.11).

3. Great Harbour International Buffet

Grand. Massive. Opulent. Those are the words that spring to mind when you step into Great Harbour International Buffet. Expect nothing less with its prime location inside ICONSIAM, ranked the world’s 4th best shopping mall. Another of the super-popular Bangkok buffet destinations, it is available at a special discount when you book through Hungry Hub.

Great Harbour International Buffet offers a menu of over 200 international buffet options and the capacity to seat 400. We were especially impressed by the Japanese selection  with its range of fresh sushi and sashimi.

From exquisite Asian delicacies to tantalising Western fare, they offer dishes ranging from sea urchins to Foie Gras and Rossini Steak.

Great Harbour has a pretty beef-centric menu, with their Recommended menu items including Wagyu Nigiri, Beef Striploin with Pepper Sauce and Wagyu Beef Noodle Soup while the Foie Gras Wagyu Beef Mini Charcoal Burger is another popular item.

Priced at just ฿1,100 (S$40.74), their weekday buffet on Hungry Hub is great value for money.

If you are a lobster-lover, though, it makes sense to upgrade to Great Harbour’s International Buffet + 1 Lobster (฿1,882) (S$69.70). You’ll be able to pick from 1 of 3 options: Lobster Tail Thermidor, Spicy Salad with Lobster and Stir Fried Shrimp with Egg Yolk Lava.

Every succulent mouthful is a revelation! You also get a mocktail or a bottle of beer with this package.

Personally, the presence of Häagen-Dazs ice cream on the menu made this an easy pick.

4. Audrey Cafe & Bistro

Audrey Cafe & Bistro is known for its unique fusion dishes and vintage ambiance. If you want to dine in elegant comfort, they have 4 outlets across Bangkok Audrey Cafe Thonglor, Audrey Cafe Siam Center, Audrey Cafe Emquartier and Audrey Cafe Central Ladprao. Audrey is an a la carte restaurant and only Hungry Hub allows you to enjoy the experience as a buffet.

The menu ranges from childhood comfort foods to European fusion dishes. What we like best is their daily Unlimited Premium Menu w/ Free Flow Alcohol (฿1,645, S$60.93).

The premium menus include Steak Main Course, with NZ Ribe Eye Steak, Organic Kurobuta Pork Chop and Grilled Salmon Fillet among your choices.

In their pasta selection, you will find regular and black spaghetti prepared in traditional Italian style as well as variants with local flavours. There is also Cannelloni, Macaroni and Lasagna.

Then there are stir fries of Soft Shell Crab, Calamari and Mixed Seafood, as well as NZ Rib Eye slices in red and green curry.

One of the best choices is the Unlimited Menu with Free Flow Drinks (฿820, S$30.37). It has dishes such as Crispy Pork Cubes and Deep-Fried Prawn with Mayonnaise. You’ll be able to pick from 250 menu items.

Prefer a heavier buffet? You can’t go wrong with their Unlimited Premium Menu w/ Free Flow Drinks (Everyday) (฿1,025, S$37.96). You will get to indulge in grilled New Zealand Rib-Eye Steak served with Black Pepper Sauce and Grilled Salmon served with Cream of Lemon Sauce.

5. Sky Box (Outdoor Zone): Bangkok Balcony Rooftop 81st Floor Baiyoke Sky Hotel

Another buffet experience with a view, Sky Box (Outdoor Zone) at Baiyoke Sky Hotel offers an unlimited dining rooftop experience.

Sky Box is also the best choice if you are intimidated by reams of different menus and packages – this restaurant located on 81st level of Baiyoke has a single buffet menu… but what a menu it is!

Slashed from its original ฿3,998 (S$148.07) price tag, its is available on Hungry Hub at just ฿2,015 (S$74.63) for a limited time.

For appetisers, you have choices that include Truffle Soup, Shark’s Fin Soup, Tuna Salad (with) Mango Salsa Sauce, Pork Tenderloin, Red Snapper Steak and Australian Rib Eye Steak.

There is boiled and grilled seafood with river prawns and oysters. Stir fried  seafood dishes regale the senses in every way while the sizzle of Tom Yum bowls tantalise the tongue.

Sushi and sashimi of tuna, salmon and shime saba (cured mackerel) add to the marine abundance. From the West, there is Beef Stew, Baked Mussel with Cheese and Spinach Au Gratin.

Desserts are top-notch, with Hokkaido Milk Soft Serve, Mango with Sticky Rice, Durian Coconut Milk with Sticky Rice and Soft Pandan Cake all part of the wide selection.

6. Butcher Factory by Bangkok Butcher

Butcher Factory by Bangkok Butcher is famous for its dry-aged steaks and pasta dishes. On the days that you crave just red meat, this is where you should go. Their meat is dry aged over 40 days to give just the right depth of flavour.

The menu choices are simple: either the Dry Aged Buffet Steak ฿1,159 (S$42.85) or the Dry Aged Buffet Steak (Premium) ฿1,399 (S$51.81).

They are virtually identical but the latter includes Striploin Prime Angus Southern Ranges SR4+ (200g) on the Steak Platter alongside the regular Bravette (200g), Flank (200g) and Tri-Tip (200g). The premium menu also includes Grilled Lamb Rack and Grilled Beef Tongue.

For starters, there is Beef Tartare, Smoked Bacon Sausage Platter, Jack Daniel’s Wings and the all-time fave of Mac & Cheese.

Fancy a salad amongst all the red meat? Well, you’ll get both! There is Grilled Steak Spring Mix, Smoked Bacon Caesar Salad and Italian Sausage Salad. A side of French Onion Soup or Truffle Soup pairs perfectly with them.

Aglio Olio, Bolognese, Classic Carbonara and Squid Ink are among the choices on the Pasta menu.

7. Savio at Chatrium Grand Bangkok

Savio at Chatrium Grand Bangkok brings all-day dining at the premier restaurant of this 5-star hotel within reach of the average traveller. This is a very popular buffet destination for locals, but book through Hungry Hub for a special discounted price.

If you are dropping by for lunch on a weekday, choose from the Buffet Lunch with Free Flow Water (฿990) or the Buffet Lunch + Assorted Dim sum and Free Flow Water (฿1,100, S$40.74). The latter comes with a variety of premium dishes and a delightful Dim Sum trolley.

Both sets give you a taste of a range of different international cuisines, including Western, Asian, Italian, Indian, Teppanyaki, Japanese Fried and Sushi. There is also a Pastry selection that includes Mango Sticky Rice, Crème Brulee and Caramel Brownies with Ice Cream.

We strongly recommend that you top up the ฿110 (S$4.07) to get the Buffet Lunch + Assorted Dim sum and Free Flow Water – it’s really worth it!

If you are a sushi and sashimi fan, then there are no two ways about it – you have to ask for the Buffet Dinner + Premium Sushi & Sashimi and Free Flow Beer (Mon – Thu) ฿1,600 (S$59.26).

This premium menu adds blue fin tuna ottoro, shutoro and akkami, as well as hamacchi and salmon trout to the mix. Can’t you just savour how good the free flow of beer will taste with that premium selection already?

8. The Dining Room at Grand Hyatt Erawan

You should taste some of the chef’s recommendations that include Gal-bi marinated pork neck, Seafood thermidor, Hong Kong roasted duck and Assorted dim sum. The Crab Bisque and Fish Maw Soup are a good side to any meal.

If you’re in the mood for Italian, there is pasta galore in the form of Carbonara, Pomodoro and Aglio Olio, as well as Beef Ragout.
