Inspired by the Swiss luxury brand’s 172-year history of crafting athletic shoes, the new styles are a redesigned version of Bally’s archived 1940s ballet flat. While the original style featured more ornate detailing specific to the needs of professional ballerinas, such as ribbons and reinforced toes, the newly released shoes are designed for everyday wear.
The new shoes are made from synthetic lurex and cotton and feature a cemented construction, an estimated half-inch heel and a small side buckle. The Ballyrina ballet flats are also adorned in a three-dimensional glitter coating designed to reflect the light as the wearer steps into any occasion.
According to Bally, “Practical, comfortable, and versatile, the shoes’ rounded toes and sleek silhouettes make them perfect for on-the-go moments while offering a sophisticated way to dress up any ensemble.”
Continuing to pay homage to Bally’s history of crafting footwear, the Ballyrina ballet flats are presented in a limited-edition box that features the original 1940s Bally ballerina logo reinterpreted in gold foil for a modern look.
The Bally Ballyrina ballet flats are available to purchase in stores and online at bally.com.
