Baileys' sell-out piña colada flavour is back!
Baileys is back with its fruity, tropical flavoured liqueur — the Baileys Colada — and we cannot wait to add this to our drinks line-up this summer!
After selling out in record time when it first hit the shelves three years ago, Baileys Colada is back, and you can now get your hands on this delicious bottle — but it's only around for a limited time so be quick.
The limited edition Baileys Colada (17% ABV) blends Baileys Original Irish Cream with creamy coconut and sweet, juicy pineapples. The brand recommends enjoying it as a 50ml measure over ice or drizzled over vanilla ice cream for an extra summery treat.
Baileys has also shared a cocktail recipe that blends frozen pineapple, fruit juice and the Baileys liqueur — which sounds so delicious we'll be whipping it up as soon as the weekend arrives...
Baileys Colada Cocktail - serves 1
Ingredients:
50ml Baileys Colada
Ice cubes
Frozen pineapple chunks
Slices of pineapple to garnish
Fruit juice and crushed or chopped coconut for the rim of the glass
Method:
Add 50ml of Baileys Colada, ice cubes and frozen pineapple chunks to a blender, and blend until smooth and fully combined.
Dip the rim of the glass into a small amount of fruit juice and sprinkle the crushed coconut onto the juice so it sticks.
Pour into your favourite cocktail glass and garnish with slices of pineapple.
Add a mini umbrella to bring the taste of summer home and enjoy!
Top tip: Add a splash of water to your blender to get your cocktail moving. And for added creaminess, add cream of coconut to the blender before you combine for a truly delicious taste of summer!
