BabyJohn Choi disappointed to be left out of drama promo

20 Feb – Hong Kong actor Babyjohn Choi recently admitted to be disappointed that he is not able to join his fellow cast members in promoting their TVB drama, "I Bet Your Pardon", which has been airing since January.

As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who starred in the drama alongside veteran big names like Kent Cheng, Paul Chun, Kent Tong and Angie Cheong, stated that it was a pity that his management company HMV Digital China and TVB are at odds with each other right now, and ultimately affected all of HMV's stars work with TVB.

It is noted that the said drama was shot way back in 2017, when TVB and HMV were still on good terms with each other.

"But I understand the position of the two companies. As an employee, it's understandable that we would be affected by it as well. The only sad thing is that I had a lot of great memories shooting the drama, and it's a pity I can't reunite with my cast mates," he said.

On the other hand, the actor is thankful for the opportunity to work with many seniors, especially Kent Cheng, of whom he learned a lot from while filming the show.

"He taught me that if I invest myself in the character and show sincerity, the performance will come out smoothly," he said.

The drama will be airing its final episode on 23 February.
