Ayla Sham Yuet helps out with the Princess of Selangor's Soup Kitchen
15 Nov - Selangor's royal princess Tengku Zatashah recently took to social media to thank Chingmy Yau's daughter Ayla Sham Yuet for helping out with her Soup Kitchen programme in Kuala Lumpur.
On 13 November, Tengku Zatashah, who is the second daughter of the current Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, posted a video of the model helping her out with her charity work, calling Ayla her "meimei" in the post.
"Thank you, my beautiful sister, my mèimei Ayla who flew in all the way from Hong Kong. She's here with me to help distribute food to our clients on the streets of Kuala Lumpur. We handed out warm cooked meals, buns, biscuits, oranges and water," Tengku Zatashah posted.
"She always said that she'd like to join me, so thank you for sharing your time together for our 100 clients today with Kechara Soup Kitchen. As our clients said to you: "doh jyeh leng lui," she added.
The 21-year-old is Hong Kong's former screen siren Chingmy Yau's daughter with millionaire mogul, Sham Kar Wai. She has appeared in various esteemed publications as the cover model including Harper's Bazaar Hong Kong, Elle Hong Kong, Cosmopolitan Hong Kong, Marie Claire Hong Kong, Madame Figaro, Hashtag Legend, and Prestige Hong Kong & Taiwan, Tatler China, Schon China, and Le Figaro Lifestyle China.
Aside from modelling, Ayla also loves drawing and writing, even publishing her first book last year titled, "The Head to Toe Guide to Being Happy".
