Aya Liu threatens legal action over drug abuse allegation

21 Jun - Taiwanese TV host and singer Aya Liu has recently released a statement following Mickey Huang's explosive exposé regarding celebrities in the entertainment industry.

The TV host, who was among the 18 celebrities Mickey dragged in his video that had since been deleted, expressed, "I, Liu Hanya (Aya), have never used illegal drugs or drugs in any form, and strictly abide by laws and regulations."

"As for other people's slander and allegations against me, I will take up legal weapons to protect my legitimate rights and interests. I hereby declare," she added.

Others whom Mickey had accused of drug abuse included Barbie and Dee Hsu, Mavis Fan, and Lawrence Chou.

Meanwhile, Sam Tseng, who faced a smaller accusation of drinking and smoking at Zhongshan Hall, which is a historical site, released a statement via his manager, saying, "Drinking and smoking should be done in moderation. Here's what I should be aware of. Now for me, health is really the most important thing."
