‘How to Get Away With Murder’ Premiere Cliffhanger Puts Fans in Meltdown Mode
(WARNING: Do not read on if you don’t want to know what happened on Thursday night’s season premiere of “How to Get Away With Murder.”)
The season premiere of ABC’s “How to Get Away With Murder” on Thursday left someone dead in its final minutes — and left fans dying with anticipation over who the corpse might be.
As Thursday night’s season premiere drew to a close, Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) arrived home to find a crowd gathered outside and a sheet-covered body being wheeled out.
In the flash-forward scene, the sheet is partially lifted, showing Keating — but not the audience — who the corpse was.

The devastated expression on Keating’s face, however, did reveal that whoever it was, was someone very important to Keating.
Enter the “HTGAWM” fan army, who rushed to social media with panicked reactions to the cliffhanger and other question marks in the episode.
“Who died? who burned the house down? where frank been? who posting the posters?” one frenzied fan wondered.

“Who is on the strechter? who burned annalise house? What is frank gonna do? Who posting the killer posters? Why is Wes so fine,” another asked.
“Somebody’s dead, Frank is on the run, Annalise has a hit man, shes a killer, the house is on fire. season 3 is here and i’m ready,” yet another summed up.
