"Avengers" stars Chris Evans, Tom Holland reunite for horror thriller

These two Avengers are assembling in a new thriller movie.

17 Jan – If you couldn't get enough of Chris Evans and Tom Holland in Marvel's "Avengers" movies, well you're in luck, as the duo can be seen starring together in a new movie soon.

Evans and Holland are reuniting as part of the ensemble cast for Netflix's new movie, "The Devil All the Time", according to The Wrap.

In the midwestern gothic about a serial killer couple, a faith testing preacher and a corrupt sheriff, Evans will play a character called Lee Bodecker while Holland will play Arvin Russell.

Told across two decades, the movie tells of Russell's father Willard, who turns to prayer – in desperation to save his dying wife – which succumbs to sacrifice. This sets Russell on his path from bullied kid to a man who knows when to take action.

The star-studded cast also includes Robert Pattinson, Bill Skarsgard, Eliza Scanlen, Mia Wasikowska and Gabriel Ebert.

Based on Donald Ray Pollock's 2011 novel of the same name, the screenplay is penned by Antonio and Paulo Campos, with Jake Gyllenhaal serving as one of the producers.

"The Devil All the Time" is set to begin filming this February in Alabama.
