'Avengers: Endgame' is being re-released in cinemas with bonus scenes
As if Avengers: Endgame wasn’t long enough the movie is now being re-released in cinemas with added scenes.
The fourth Avengers film was released on April 26th and has become the second highest grossing movie of all time, but it looks like Disney is hoping to nab the number one spot by luring fans back to the big screen.
Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige, while promoting Spider-Man: Far From Home, confirmed that the new version will apparently be available to watch next weekend,
"We are doing that," Feige told Comicbook.com. "I don't know if it's been announced. And I don't know how much... Yeah, we're doing it next weekend."
In a separate interview with Screen Rant, Feige clarified what the new version would entail.

“Not an extended cut, but there will be a version going into theaters with a bit of a marketing push with a few new things at the end of the movie,” he said. “If you stay and watch the movie, after the credits, there’ll be a deleted scene, a little tribute, and a few surprises. Which will be next weekend.”
Avengers: Endgame has currently earned $2.743 billion (£2.17 billion) but Disney are clearly hoping to beat Avatar’s global box office record of $2.788 billion (£2.21 billion) with this new incentive.
Endgame directors Joe and Anthony Russo have been saying since the film’s release that they didn’t want to focus on box office numbers.
“I have to be honest with you. I’m almost disappointed that the movie did so well,” Joe Russo told CinemaBlend’s ReelBlend podcast back in May.

“Because it’s like, the box office story is literally dominating the conversation and it’s not the most interesting part of the story.”
This week, Anthony Russo doubled down on that stance at the MTV Movie and Television Awards when asked about the battle for number one with Avatar.
“I try not to focus on it because even if we don’t pass Avatar, it’s like there’s no way I want to have a shred of regret about anything associated with this movie,” Russo told IndieWire. “So, I refuse to kinda consider it, you know?”
The original cut of Avengers: Endgame is still available to watch in UK cinemas so it’s unclear if and when the second cut will take over.
