Low-cost Avelo Airlines is offering major deals on all of its flights right now, allowing travelers to fly with the startup carrier for much less.

“We’re growing fast, adding new cities and routes frequently—enjoy nonstop, reliable flights with Avelo to your favorite destinations,” the airline shared about the promotion on its website.

The promotion, which ends tomorrow, Jan. 7, at 11:59 p.m. PT, offers a $50 discount on round-trip bookings for travel between Jan. 22 and March 11 with the promo code “NOW.” For later trips, travelers can save $30 on flights scheduled between April 23 and June 10 using the promo code “LATER,” excluding blackout dates from May 21 to 26 for Memorial Day weekend.

Regardless of which discount code you take advantage of, all reservations must be round-trip flights, not one-way. Additionally, the promo code must be applied either at the start of your search or during checkout on Avelo’s website.

Travel + Leisure tested out both discount codes on several round-trip flights this winter and spring seasons:

  • Salt Lake City (SLC) to/from Sonoma County (STS): $42 ($92 without the promo code)

  • Wilmington, N.C. (ILM) to/from Tampa (TPA): $122 ($152 without the promo code)

  • Charlotte-Concord (USA) to/from Orlando-Lakeland (LAL): $174 ($204 without the promo code)

  • New Haven (HVN) to/from San Juan (SJU): $223 ($273 without the promo code)

  • Raleigh-Durham (RDU) to/from Punta Cana (PUJ): $226 ($276 without the promo code)

Avelo Airlines launched operations in 2021, utilizing a fleet of Boeing 737 aircraft to link smaller cities with popular destinations across the U.S. and, more recently, the Caribbean. As a true budget carrier, Avelo applies additional fees for carry-on bags, checked luggage, seat selection, and other services. Although the airline does not offer first-class seating, passengers can opt for extra legroom seats for added comfort.
