Auston Lam won't prohibit wife from expressing political opinion
22 May – Despite rumours that TVB has reduced his work following his wife Tammy Ou Yang's political opinion, Austom Lam recently stressed that he will not at all prohibit his wife from speaking her mind.
As reported on Mingpao, the singer who spoke about the recent rumour surrounding his status with TVB, expressed his belief that his wife's political opinion has not affected his work whatsoever.
"It would be impossible for me to look at everything she has to say. She has already left TVB anyway. Although we're a couple, it's not like I control everything," he said.
When asked if Tammy is interested in politics, Auston said that that question should be answered by the former beauty queen herself.
Speaking about rumours of him being frozen by TVB, the singer stated that he didn't quite understand how people came to that conclusion just because he didn't attend the promotional events of his drama, "Brutally Young" due to his busy schedule.
"Aside from hosting "Jade Solid Gold", I also have to take care of my business outside of the entertainment industry," he added.
