Aufahanie frustrated over brands misusing her grief for profit

20 Aug - Aufahanie recently expressed frustration over the insensitivity of some brands following news of her brother's passing.

The singer, who spoke to the media recently, shared that she has received several direct messages on social media from individuals asking her for a collaboration.

"I don't want to make things worse, but the longer I ignore it, the more of them texted me for a campaign or to review their products," she said. "I just lost a family member. People go to my social media to learn more about the development of the case, not for other things."

Aufahanie questioned the humanity of some of these brands for making such an offer due to the recent high engagement she had on social media due to the tragic passing of her brother, Nidza Afham.

"They have asked me a couple of times already. I have to voice this out so you can understand that this should not be happening. Please be professional. I am truly disappointed," she added.

Aufahanie and her family suffered a tragic loss after 23-year-old Muhammad Nidza Afham went missing near the Klang River last week and was subsequently found dead.
