Athena Chu excited about parenting show, "Get Smart, Dad"
3 Oct – Hong Kong actress Athena Chu can't wait to watch the new mainland variety show, "Get Smart, Dad", and see how husband Paul Wong and daughter Debbie interact with each other.
As reported on Epoch Times, the actress who was asked about the upcoming show recently, said that the father and daughter duo didn't have much of a bond between them prior to doing the programme.
"But since doing the show, the changes in Debbie are quite impressive. The two of them now have a good relationship. She trusts her father very much," she said.
When mentioned that the show has postponed its premiere, Athena said that she is not clear about the reasons.
"But I am looking forward to it. I want to see how my husband took care of our child," she enthused.
On the other hand, when asked about the rumours that the family has received a hefty pay for their participation in the show, Athena smiled and said, "You should ask our company about this. For me, the most important thing is not about the money, but family."
The upcoming programme also features stars like Lee Seung-hyun and daughter Lucky, as well as Timmy Hung and his two sons Daren and Jingxi.
