Ashley Graham just shared the most empowering message about her cellulite
This week Ashley Graham along with Tyra Banks attended and spoke at Cosmopolitan‘s Fun Fearless Money conference. Both women are huge fashion moguls, with brand name recognition other people would die to have. They have both built a career by embracing their curves and making other women feel as thought their bodies are good enough just the way they are. Having women like that in the limelight is not only empowering but downright badass.
When asked what some of the surprising downsides of being a model that is well recognized, Ashley Graham answered in the best way possible.
She said, “The paparazzi taking a photo of you as you’re eating!”
After laughing off her first answer, she continued thoughtfully.
“You just have to work a little harder. When you’re not in the limelight, it’s a little less work, but when you’re in the limelight, you have to work hard to stay there. I love what I do and I love where I’m going. I love how the world is changing right before my eyes. I like to say that my cellulite is changing someone’s life out there.”

The bottom line is that Ashley looks flawless and is encouraging other women to feel themselves in the same way. The more representation we see in media, the less stigmatized we will feel.
