Arnold Kwok denies conflict with ex-girlfriend
31 May – TVB actor Arnold Kwok has dismissed the idea that there was a conflict between him and his ex-girlfriend Karen.
As reported on Mingpao, speculations that Arnold cheated on his former girlfriend of three years sparked recently, when Karen wrote an ambiguous message on social media that read, "Some people always say how much they love you, but then use excuses to cover up their mistakes and protect themselves."
The cheating rumour was further fuelled by the fact that the post came after Arnold denied rumours of romance with beauty queen Amber Tang.
However, when asked about it recently, Arnold said that this was not the case at all.
"I hadn't seen her after our breakup early this year. We only met again in the early morning of my court hearing. After three years, we treat each other like family. She was also worried about the verdict," he said.
Arnold revealed that the two of them even had a great talk afterwards and gave each other a goodbye hug.
As for Karen's post, Arnold said that he was surprised that it got such an attention.
"It really affected her, and my reputation as well. But we won't blame each other for that," he said.
