Arnold Kwok to complete community service for DUI
12 Jun – TVB actor Arnold Kwok has been sentenced with a 90-hour community service for driving under the influence.
As reported on On CC, the actor, who appeared at the Kowloon City Law Courts recently to hear the verdict for his previous DUI case, also has his driving license suspended for 12 months, and will need to take a driving improvement course before he is to retrieve said license.
According to the judge, Arnold was not given a harsher punishment due to the fact that he had shown remorse and positive result from his probation.
Speaking to the media after the session, Arnold said that he will abide by his sentence.
"I will try my best to be a good role model and work hard to show everyone a good result," he added.
And while he can't promise not to drink alcohol at all, Arnold said that he will make sure not to drive while intoxicated.
