Ariff Bahran says stop glorifying bad people!

16 Feb - Ariff Bahran recently expressed his frustration over netizens choosing to focus on "stupid gossips" rather than things that can better themselves as people.

In a recent video shared on his Instagram, the singer expressed his disbelief of the fact that people are still worked up on things that are not beneficial both individually and to the public.

"When it comes to celebrities committing bigamy or about pimps, [they would read all about it]. You condemn people doing good things, but then you glorify people doing bad things," he ranted.

Ariff also expressed dismay over the viral video of a netizen taking photos with the infamous "Hot Daddy" while holding his child, stressing that people should work hard to be a better version of themselves in 2024.

"Get a life and focus on yourself. God willing, 2024 will be a year for you to be so much better," he added.

The "Hot Daddy" controversy made headlines recently, after a man calling himself that particular moniker advertised prostitution through the platform X. He and his partners had since been charged under to Section 372 (1)(e) of the Penal Code.
