Here's Why Fans Think That Ariana Grande Put a Secret Message in Her 'Pete Davidson' Song

From Cosmopolitan

Even though Ariana Grande has been blowing up everyone's Spotify/YouTube/Apple Music/lives with her current hit "thank u, next," it seems as though we all might want to circle back to her Sweetener album for a closer look at some of her other music.

And that's because fans have found what they think could be a secret message from Ari to her then-fiancé Pete Davidson in the song that she named after him. According to E!, "a fan listening to the track, which is also called 'Pete Davidson,' recently noticed the Grammy nominee repeatedly used the guitar chords B, A and E throughout the song-spelling out the word 'bae.'"

It's admittedly a bit of a stretch, but Ari has been known to hide secret messages in her work (see: all of these details in her "thank u, next" vid), so it's not the craziest theory. What do you think?
